Celebrating 40 Years – Our Journey Since 1986

Our journey began in 1986. While working as an Industrial Instrument Technician on a petroleum site in Victoria, I saw an advertisement in The Agenewspaper seeking instrument technicians for Peko-Wallsend’s remote gold mining operations in the Tanami Desert.

I called the company to discuss the position and was quickly warned about the conditions — extremely hot, isolated and certainly not for everyone. They were keen to have me on site, but there was one condition: I needed to work under contract and be self-employed.

And just like that, our family business began.

From those early days providing site maintenance at mines around Australia, the business continued to grow and evolve. Over the years, we have been on call, maintaining many of Tasmania’s wastewater treatment plants, manufacturing analytical equipment in-house for international companies, and continually expanding our expertise, products, and services.

Forty years later, we have grown into one of Tasmania’s leading industrial process equipment providers.

A lot has changed since 1986, but some things haven’t. We remain proudly family-owned, and our commitment to providing exceptional technical knowledge, service and customer support is still at the heart of what we do.

Reaching 40 years in business is a milestone we are incredibly proud of, and one that simply wouldn’t have been possible without the customers, suppliers and staff who have been part of our journey.

From a newspaper advertisement in The Age and a contract in the Tanami Desert to where we are today, it’s been quite a journey.
